I started painting when I went to film school in 1994.

I painted all through my career as a Film director. I painted when things were good, and I painted (much better) when things were bad.

 

I cherish time in my shedio. Stylistically I have been trying to devolve into abstraction, but haven’t quite made it yet. I love working at the larger end of the scale and don’t feel dressed unless there’s paint on my hands or clothes.
